Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from spreadsheetland.com. Please read them before you place an order. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. About us

SpreadsheetLand (spreadsheetland.com) is run by Darren Hunt trading as SpreadsheetLand, 6 Lewisham Terrace, Berkeley, GL13 9NP, United Kingdom. We sell downloadable spreadsheet templates. Contact: hello@spreadsheetland.com.

2. Our products

All our products are digital downloads (spreadsheet files) that work in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice, as described on each product page. Nothing physical is posted. Please check the product description and supported software before buying.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£), or in your local currency where available (for example US dollars for customers in the USA), and the price shown at checkout is the total you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.

4. Delivery

Your download link appears straight after payment and is also emailed to you. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or email us.

5. Your right to cancel (digital content)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because our products are digital content supplied immediately, at checkout we ask you to agree to immediate access and to acknowledge that you will lose this right to cancel once the download is made available. If you do not give this agreement, we cannot complete the order.

6. Faulty files and refunds

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If a file is faulty, does not match its description, or cannot be opened in the supported software, please contact us and we will fix it, replace it or refund you. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

7. Licence to use the spreadsheets

When you buy a spreadsheet you get a licence to use it for your own personal or business use. You may make copies for your own use and backup. You may not resell, share, give away or publish the files (or modified versions of them), or present them as your own product.

8. Important: not financial, tax or legal advice

Our spreadsheets are record-keeping and planning tools. They do not provide financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and you are responsible for checking the figures you enter and the results before relying on them. For advice about your own situation, please speak to an accountant or another qualified professional. Our spreadsheets are not Making Tax Digital (MTD) software.

9. Chat assistant

The “Ask a question” chat on our website uses artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) to answer questions about our products. Answers are provided to help you, but they can sometimes be wrong, and they are not financial, tax or legal advice. If in doubt, email us.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot legally be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, if you use our products for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the product.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data as explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
