🇺🇸 US EDITION: made for contractors in the USA. US dollars, mm/dd/yyyy dates, IRS mileage rate and Schedule C categories.

Stop being your own bookkeeper. One spreadsheet that runs the whole admin side of your contracting business: jobs, estimates, invoices, customers, expenses and mileage, with a Dashboard that updates itself. Built for US contractors, with dollars, US dates, IRS mileage and Schedule C expense categories.

Sound Familiar?

Writing estimates from memory because the paperwork is never in one place
No real idea what a job made until weeks after it was finished
Chasing an invoice you’re sure you sent, but can’t find anywhere
Receipts for materials and gas piling up in the truck
Guessing your mileage deduction because you never wrote the trips down
Scrambling to work out your quarterly estimated tax payment

None of that is a “you” problem. It’s a missing system problem, and this template fixes it.

One Contractor Spreadsheet for Everything

The Contractor Command Center (US Edition) puts every job, invoice, customer, expense and mile into one spreadsheet that does the math for you. No formulas to write and no accounting background needed. Just fill in the colored cells.

Made for US Contractors

Dollars and US dates (mm/dd/yyyy) throughout.
IRS mileage rate built in, and you can change it. Pre-set to the 2026 IRS business rate of 76¢ a mile (from July 1, 2026). When the IRS changes the rate, type the new one into Settings and every trip updates.
Expense categories that line up with IRS Schedule C, with a “Sch. C line” guide next to each total, so tax time is quicker.
Quarterly estimated tax guide on the Dashboard, with the IRS due dates (Apr 15, Jun 15, Sep 15, Jan 15), your profit for each quarter and a suggested amount to set aside.
Sales tax line on the invoice, for states where you need to charge it.
Space for your contractor license # / EIN on your invoices.
Trade list includes General Contracting, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Drywall, Roofing, Tile, Painting, Masonry & Concrete, Flooring, Landscaping and HVAC.

Bonus: See It in Action

Your download includes a second file: a fully filled-in example for a fictional Columbus, Ohio remodeling company, with sample jobs, customers, expenses, mileage and invoices already entered. You can see exactly how everything works before you add your own data.

What’s Inside

Invoice Extras: add extra lines, sales tax or a deposit already paid, without touching the invoice layout.
Invoice Register: every invoice you send is saved. Type its number on the Invoice tab and it reloads exactly as it was.

Contractor Spreadsheet FAQ

Do I need Microsoft Excel?

No. It works in Microsoft Excel, or free in Google Sheets.

Is it a subscription?

No. It’s a one-off payment and the file is yours to keep.

Can I change the mileage rate?

Yes. It’s pre-set to the IRS business rate (76¢ a mile from July 1, 2026), and you can type a different rate in Settings at any time. Every trip’s deduction updates straight away.

Can I pay in US dollars?

Yes. US customers see prices and pay in US dollars ($) at checkout, so there’s no currency conversion to worry about.

Does it work on a Mac, iPad or phone?

Yes. It works in Excel on Mac and PC, and in Google Sheets in any web browser. On an iPad or phone you can open it in the free Excel or Google Sheets app to check and update it, but a computer is easier for setting it up.

Can I get a refund?

Because it’s an instant digital download, I can’t offer a refund once the file has been downloaded. If the file is faulty and I can’t fix it, you were charged twice, or you received the wrong product, I will put it right or refund you. See the Refund Policy.
